Friday, February 23rd, 6-10pm – Gallery Opening – Our event series kicks off with a grand opening packed with ocean themed art, installations, tacos, and local microbrews from Lagunitas, Magnolia, Fort Point and Wawona (BYOC bring your own cup or purchase an official Surfrider Foundation Kleen Kanteen stainless steel pint cup) Bring your friends and get your groove on with funk band, The Ha and DJ Combsy. Our theatre will be open with showings of Straws, It Ain’t Pretty and other stunning films. Get ready to be inspired!

All 3 days are free and open to the public but an RSVP is required for Friday’s opening party.

Saturday, February 24th, 10am-2pm – Open House and Craft Day – Come get crafty with Wee Scotty’s sewing workshop. Get up close to animal friends with Tree Frog Treks. Check out our activity tables while enjoying live music by Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts jazz quartet, The Real Deal.  Exhibit is open to the public until 5pm.

Sunday, February 25th, 10am-2pm – Student Appreciation Day – All Bay Area schools, families and the public are invited to celebrate the accomplishments of the K-12 artists and environmentalists who are participating in our show. Come enjoy an encore performance by jazz quartet, The Real Deal and dance, music, and spoken word performances by Ruth Asawa School of the Arts students. Wee Scotty will also return with their sewing magic, and EcoGlitter Fun from the UK will be adorning faces with biodegradable glitter. Exhibit is open to the public until 5pm.
